Strata’s integrated transplant clinical services platform is built to support transplant centers and organ procurement organizations (OPOs) with a partnership approach and a dedication to clinical excellence. We combine highly trained clinical teams strategically located at regional organ recovery hubs across the country, logistics and a proprietary technology platform to help the transplant community recover and transplant as many donor organs as possible.

Platform at a Glance

  • Clinicians >375
  • Surgeons >20
  • Regional hubs ~11
  • NRP cases >2,000
  • Surgical recovery cases >700

Integrated, End-to-End Transplant Clinical Services Platform

Organ recovery involves more than a recovery team. It requires the right clinical resources including surgeons, perfusionists, preservationists and equipment supported by time critical logistics and technology infrastructure. Strata brings all of these elements together on an integrated platform including:

  • Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP)
  • Surgical recovery (Thoracic and Abdominal)
  • Machine perfusion support
  • Air and ground logistics
  • Data capture, reporting, and documentation

Built Around Regional Organ Recovery Hubs

Strata uses a hub and spoke model that positions clinical resources, equipment, and supplies across a network of regional organ recovery hubs. When a donor opportunity presents, we mobilize from the hub closest to the donor hospital to support rapid execution which reduces complexity and cost.

This model is designed to help transplant programs and OPOs pursue time critical opportunities with greater consistency and lower operational friction, while minimizing costs through locally positioned clinical teams and logistics.

Clinical Excellence

Clinical quality is supported through credentialing and oversight:

  • All Strata surgeons are listed in the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) Credentials Information Network (ACIN) and vetted by our in-house Medical Director.
  • Commitment to clinical excellence through oversight of certification, training and continuing education requirements
