Strata Critical Logistics and Clinical Divisions Unify Branding
Today, we are writing to share an exciting update that strengthens our long‑term commitment to the transplant centers, organ procurement organizations, and cardiothoracic surgery programs we serve.
As of September 1, our colleagues at Trinity Medical Solutions, Keystone Perfusion, and HLT-NRP are uniting under a single name: Strata Critical Medical. This change reflects how we already operate today, with aligned leadership, shared standards of excellence, and a unified mission to support our customers – with less confusion of multiple company names.
What stays the same: Our services, points of contact, and coordination teams remain unchanged. All operations will continue without interruption using existing workflows, contracts, and invoicing processes.
What strengthens: We are further integrating our technology, customer success reporting, and suite of end-to-end solutions to streamline service delivery and reduce the administrative burden on our customers. This means one coordinated team with unified software powering our nationwide hubs and on-demand services.
As always, we are on call 24/7/365 to deliver our unified suite of services, including:
· Organ placement
· Abdominal and thoracic surgical organ recovery (DBD and DCD)
· Normothermic regional perfusion
· Machine perfusion device management, operation, and maintenance
· Air and ground transportation
· Organ hand‑carry, next‑flight‑out coordination, and time-critical logistics
· Perfusion staffing, equipment solutions and clinical support for cardiothoracic surgery programs
If you aren't familiar with all of our capabilities, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about them. Feel free to reach out or schedule a call with our team directly at sales(at)stratacritical.com or use our contact us form.
This transition strengthens our ability to bring together both clinical and operational expertise with the highest level of customer service. It also positions us to continue investing in the technology, infrastructure, and coordination capabilities that matter most to our partners in the transplant and cardiac care communities we serve.
Together, we have transported more than 100k donor organs and performed thousands of organ recoveries. Each year our perfusion teams support more than 12,000 cardiac procedures. We are honored to continue supporting this lifesaving work as Strata Critical.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Strata Critical Medical?
Strata Critical Medical is a national provider of time-critical logistics and clinical services to the U.S. healthcare industry. We operate one of the largest air transport and surgical services networks for hospitals, transplant centers, and organ procurement organizations, offering an integrated “one call” solution for donor organ recovery.
Our core services span transplant and cardiac surgical care. We provide air and ground logistics, surgical organ recovery, organ placement and normothermic regional perfusion for the transplant industry. We also deliver perfusion staffing, equipment solutions, and clinical support for cardiovascular surgery centers across the country.
We build on more than a decade of experience through our predecessor companies, Trinity Medical Solutions, Keystone Perfusion, and Blade Air Mobility. In 2025, we streamlined our operations to focus 100% on healthcare—divesting our passenger aviation arm and unifying all our services under the Strata Critical name in 2026.
What is Strata Critical’s mission?
Our mission is to deliver expert clinical and logistics services that help our partners save more lives. We work alongside hospitals, OPOs, and surgical teams to increase the number of successful organ transplants and enable more efficient cardiovascular procedures, supported by a nationwide network of surgeons, perfusionists, logistics teams, aircraft, vehicles, and medical equipment.
Our goals are aligned with those of our partners in the healthcare ecosystem: working with Strata, industry participants spend less money and save more lives. When our partners achieve better outcomes, patients and families benefit. We are driven by this human impact, and it is what fuels our work.
Is Strata Critical a merger of Trinity Medical Solutions, Keystone Perfusion and HLT-NRP?
Strata acquired Trinity Air Medical in 2021, Keystone Perfusion in 2025 and HLT-NRP in 2026. We are now retiring the legacy company names and operating under the Strata brand. There is no change in ownership, management, contracts, or customer relationships.
Will my contract, invoicing, or point of contact change?
No. Existing contracts, invoicing processes and points of contact remain the same. The brand name changes; the team, terms and service delivery do not.
What services does Strata Critical provide?
Strata Critical provides nationwide air and ground transportation, organ placement, abdominal and thoracic surgical organ recovery (DBD and DCD), normothermic regional perfusion, machine perfusion device management, organ hand-carry and next-flight-out logistics, and perfusion, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and autotransfusion support for hospital cardiovascular programs.
How large is Strata Critical's transport network?
Strata Critical operates more than 35 owned and exclusive-use aircraft, strategically placed at more than 20 national air and ground hubs.
How many organ recoveries did Strata Critical complete last year?

Does Strata Critical support DCD and NRP cases?
Yes. Organ recovery (both DCD and DBD), normothermic regional perfusion (NRP), and device management are core capabilities integrated with Strata Critical's surgical recovery services, rather than outsourced to a separate vendor.
When does the Strata Critical brand take effect?
The Strata Critical brand takes effect Sept. 1, 2026 across all client-facing materials, systems and communications.
